INTRODUCTION.
With the advancement in technology using a mobile phone as a university student has become a must. Therefore it has made many impacts to the students. In order to identify these impacts we carried out a survey and through this survey we will be identifying the impact and will be making appropriate suggestions to the negative impacts. And also this survey will help to forecast future impacts on students.
CONDUCT OF SURVEY
So many students use other phone brands such as micromax, Huawei, Chinese, etc.
Female 26% The most unpopular brand among both male and female students are LG.
NETWORK CONNECTION
According to the above bar chart majority of students use the Mobitel brand connection and other connections as follows.

As per the above diagram it shows that most of students mobile expense is less than RS.500 which is not a significant amount . This might be as a result of prepaid package where most students are using . The amount is not much significant because a monthly rental is not added in the prepaid method.

SUGGESTIONS
A policy should be made to switch off their mobile phones during lecture hours.
Students must make sure to use mobile phones when ever it is necessary with out disturbing to their studies.
Students must keep a time slot to use for entertainment with out using the phone every time. When selecting a mobile phone features must be pre think and selected features must be used in an effective way. When using the mobile phone students must concern about the safety aspect also.
