PARENT GOVERNOR CANDIDATE ED NORMAN

Dad to Elliot (3 Canberra) I am standing for election as a parent governor because I wish to support the schools rich curriculum by promoting the encouragement of the arts through the Design and Technology course. I have previously contributed towards the schools Art Week in this regard with my wife Jan.

Having trained and taught at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, I am an architect and have been involved in a number of buildings in the last fifteen years and became a fellow of the Royal Society Of The Arts in 2010.

Through my work, I develop and present architectural proposals in Europe and North America and have experience in the promotion of ideas through the democratic process of debate and decision making feel these skills would lend themselves well to a parent governor role.
