    MasseyInternationalStudyAwardsforCambridgeInternationalExamination (ALevels)Students

    Purpose: Thesestudyawardswereestablishedin2011torecogniseandsupportinternationalstudentswho havecompletedCIEstudiesthatareenteringstudyatMasseyUniversityin2012. Tenureandvalue: 10awardswillbegrantedin2012inthevalueofNZ$2,000foreachrecipient. Eligibility: TheawardsareavailabletofullfeepayingInternationalstudentswho: 1. havereceived3Bgradesorbetter;and 2. haveappliedandhavebeenacceptedtostudyanundergraduatedegreeprogrammeat Massey;and 3. haveaconfirmationofplaceandcommencestudyinSemester1,2012;and 4. havenotpreviouslystudiedatMasseyUniversity. Closingdate: 20February2012 Applications: Noapplicationisrequiredtobeeligiblecandidatesmusthaveaconfirmedofferofplaceon20 February2012. SelectionandpaymentoftheCIEStudyAwardwilloccurby12March2012.Theawardwillbepaid intotheMasseystudentaccountofallstudentsselectedforawardsby12March2012.Ifthe studentsubsequentlywithdrawstheirenrolmentatMasseytheywillnotbeeligiblefortheaward amountandthiswillberetainedbytheUniversityifanyrefundismadetothestudent. Conditions: InacceptingtheStudyAward,thestudentagreestomakehimorherselfavailableasan InternationalStudentAmbassador.ParticipationintheAmbassadorprogrammemayinvolve: a) distributionofthestudentsimageintheUniversitysmarketingandprofilingmaterials b) participationinschoolvisitsduringtheyearoftheaward(traveltobefundedbyMassey University) c) submissionofatestimonialwhichcanbeusedintheUniversitysmarketingandprofiling materials
