William, the Chameleon

1) In a cold, cold winter, William, the chameleon is bored at home. 2) Mom is sleeping. Dad is sleeping. (zzz) 3) And my friends? Lucas, the toucan is sleeping. Kate, the snake is sleeping. Mikey, the monkey is sleeping. Nigel, the tiger is sleeping. Leonard, the leopard is sleeping. Doug and George the frogs are sleeping, too!!! 4) Im bored, (he turns grey) I have an idea! I want to cross the river! And he walks and walks and walks.... 5) And he is finally in the river! 6) But suddenly It starts raining! Ohhhh! Look at the rain!!! 7) Now, he is in the middle of the river. He is lost. He is alone and scared. (he turns blue) 8) But suddenly the turtle helps him and takes him home. 9) Its so good to be at home again! Thank you lady turtle!! Mom and dad were worried. 10) Now, William, the chameleon plays with Lucas, the toucan, Kate, the snake, Mikey, the monkey, Nigel, the tiger, Leonard, the leopard, Doug and George the frogs. He is happy again! (he turns red and orange 11) Today he learnt something important: Always ask for permission before going out.
