    I used the scientific method to identify my mystery mineral Leonite.

    . The steps that I used are I got my mineral, did a few tests, filled out my mineral identification sheet, and guessed my mineral. My hypothesis was that my mineral was Leonite and I was correct. A description of my mineral is the colors are purple, brown, and white. The streak was white; it felt very rough and earthy. The hardness was 10. The cleavage and fracture was 50/50. The luster was 4.It had no special properties. Finally, what helped me identify my mineral the most was the streak, also Mr. Finan, and pictures on Google chrome.
