Unit 9: Yesterday and Today

Exercise

Change the story into past tense.

Schimbai povestea la trecut.

Frederick J Frederick is a penguin but not a regular, everyday penguin. He

looks different than most penguins. First, he has thick, brown fur. Second, he
knows English and tells very funny stories. At age four, he leaves the North
Pole and comes to Texas for a job. He works as a cowboy and makes a lot of
money. At times, Frederick feels bad. At times, he is homesick for Antarctica.
But he chooses to stay in Texas, living as a cowboy penguin.
