Applications are invited for the following positions on temporary basis for a maximum period of two years from the eligible candidates:

Essential Qualifications M.Tech/M.Sc. in Remote Sensing/Physics/Geoinformatics / Environmental Geomatics/Spatial Information Technology/ Agricultural Physics/Agrometeorology or its equivalent. M.Tech/M.Sc. (Tech)/M.S/M.Sc. in Geography/Geo-informatics/ Environmental Science/Remote Sensing or its equivalent.
Desirable Qualifications/Experience Experience in satellite data analysis, crop modeling and computer software.
2.Junior Research Fellow: Fellowship amount Rs.18,000/- for ME/M.Tech and for others Rs.16,000/- No.of positions: 03 (Three)
Experience in RS data analysis and geospatial information processing. Knowledge of computer programming with computer based analysis.

Note: 1) Number of positions indicated above are provisional and may vary depending on the actual requirement. 2) ME/M.Tech or its equivalent degree should be in first class with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent and pre-eligibility qualification of BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering)/M.Sc. or its equivalent should also be in first class with an aggregate of 65% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent. BE/B.Tech/M.Sc. Degree should be in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent. Rounding-off marks is not allowed.
