I feel this position would be a great opportunity to challenge myself and further develop my skills and knowledge in this field. As a recent graduate I am very familiar with the latest regulations and frameworks, as well as what is required to achieve and maintain Quality Assurance Accreditation. As an enthusiastic individual with over five years of experience in the early childhood field I am passionate about providing quality learning experiences for young children in a safe supportive environment that will engage and excite them. I see my strengths as a teacher as being, highly organised, I am creative, enthusiastic, and sensitive to childrens individual needs. I possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as computer skills. In previous roles within the early childhood field I have had the responsibility of delivering creative learning and play activities to up to 20 children aged birth-to-four in a child care setting, and from five-to-twelve in an OHSC setting. Through both these roles I have developed strong skills, creating fun and interactive learning activities using various materials, observing and reporting on child development and learning, while also developing solid relationships with the children, their families and fellow members of staff. I believe I have the necessary experience, enthusiasm and attributes to be a valuable team member at a place where I can continue to help children learn in a fun, creative and safe environment, and contribute to their growth and wellbeing.
