A quick and easy recipe, full of nutrients and very healthy

Ingredients
4 Red Chillies Whole 1/4 tsp Cumin Seeds 8 Curry Leaves 4 buds Garlic 1/2 tsp Vegetable or Canola Oil 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds 1 Small Onion Finely Chopped Optional Coriander Leaves

4 Tomatoes nely chopped as per taste Salt 1 tsp ghee 1 Cup Toor Dal

Directions
Cook toor dal in a pressure cooker with 2 cups water, with a little bit of salt for 2 whistles and keep aside. Heat oil in a cooking pot, and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. When they start sputtering, add the whole red chillies, garlic, curry leaves and fry in oil for about 30 secs. Add the chopped onions and fry until they turn golden brown. Add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder and saut for about 5 mins on medium heat. Add the prepared toor dal from step 1 to the mixture above and cook on medium heat for an additional 10 mins. Add a small amount of ghee to the dal and serve hot with rice or bread.
