    Leave No Doubt

    Intro: Jesus wants us to be confident in our salvation. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5:13 But We doubt ourselves. LEAVE NO DOUBT! We doubt our worthiness. We are NOT worthy. We doubt our purity. We are NOT pure. We doubt our strength. We are NOT strong, and will sin again. So, LEAVE NO DOUBT ABOUT YOUR FAITH Do you believe with all your heart that Jesus is Gods Son, and that God raised Him from the dead? NEED Do you have even ONE sin separating you from God? REPENTANCE Do you still harbor a love for that sin, or do you turn away from it and shun it? BAPTISM Do you seek the forgiveness of your sins? Do you want to follow Jesus? As we strengthen our beliefs and our resolve to turn from sin, and clear up any doubt about our obedience we need to be careful. Sometimes we even doubt Jesus. WORTHINESS: Do we doubt His GRACE? Will He really forgive me? I dont deserve it. (Psst! Thats the point!) For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, Romans 3:23-24 PURITY: Do we doubt His PROMISES? Why would He really just forgive me? I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more. Heb. 8:12 Because we have trouble forgiving ourselves, we do not accept HIS forgiveness. STRENGTH: Do we doubt His FAITHFULNESS? Would He really forgive me. again? If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 If anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 1 John 2:1 He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
