    What are the possibilities of the NFC implementation on smartphones? What functionalities are supported and are there security issues to consider? NFC is analyzed rst on a theoretical level before showing the prospects of the Android platform dealing with NFC. For this purpose, the development basics for the Android platform are being described with simple examples. Those are the main topics of this report, described in dierent stages and under dierent circumstances.
