Superhero/Super-Villain Project Overview: Through this project, students will explain an issue that really irks them.

They then will develop their own superhero and super villain. The villain creates the issue, while the hero saves the day. It is imperative that the student be able to argue both sides of the issue. Steps: ________ Create a list of things that really annoy you. ________ Pick one of these items to be the focus of this project. ________ Write at least one paragraph explaining the issue; a summary of the issue. ________ Develop your superhero. This includes sufficient details to understand this character. ________ Draw the superhero or their logo. ________ Write a paragraph explaining how this character will solve the issue that really irks you. This means more than explaining the traits of the character; it would delve into why they believe this problem needs to be solved. ________ Develop your villain. This includes sufficient details to understand this character. ________ Draw the villain or their logo. ________ Write a paragraph explaining how this character will create the issue that really irks you. This means more than explaining the traits of the character; it would delve into why they believe this problem needs to be solved. ________ Write at least one confrontation scene in which your superhero and villain exchange words. This doesnt need to be lengthy. However, it must be long enough to include four lines of dialogue.
