General Abstracts Writing Guidelines All abstracts should not exceed 700 words (excluding tables and graphs) Abstracts must include supporting data Writers must use the conference abstract and poster templates Process improvement abstracts must include a defined methodology See Resources section for link to examples from last years conference No late submissions will be accepted.

Abstract Scoring All posters will be judged in a blinded fashion by a panel of multidisciplinary health care professionals with safety and quality expertise. Best abstracts will be recognized at the podium during the conference plenary session. A special note to health care professional students: **The best abstract by a Duke health care professional student in any of the categories above will receive a special award at the podium!
**Authors will be responsible for conference registration, travel and associated costs.
