CHARLES CHAPLIN’S BIOGRAPHY

I was born in London in April 16 th 1889 and I died in December 25 th 1997. I

was born with talents in art and comic. I have abilities like acting, writing,
directing, producing films and composing.

If I had not done almost 90 sound and mute films I wouldn’t have won an Oscar
award. I have a los of experience in acting and producing films because I made
ones of the famous characters of the times, he calls “The tramp” or “Charlot” in
Spanish, gentlemen with tight suits and a particular oscillating way of walk.

My mother was a theater actress but she was schizophrenic, she was going to
enjoy my success but she couldn´t because she had mental problems and she
had to intern in a sanatorium. My father was an alcoholic and died when I was
12 years old. If my mother hadn’t been an actress I might not have been a
successful actor. I never thought I would make that “The trump” speaks in my
films but in the lasted film the producers talked me out of it.

I was going to stay in USA but I couldn’t because de American Activities

Committee said that I was a communist because I made a film called “The
great dictator” and I was reported of USA. I should have gone to testify about
the charges I wouldn’t have been exiled.

When I was old, USA gave me the permission to come back and receive the
Oscar award best year film, a few years later I died in Switzerland in my
mansion while I was sleeping at my 88 years old.
