Where was Hinduism established?

It was believed to be established in India

When did Hinduism begin

It started about 4000 years ago

That is very long ago

How was the world created?

Its been at the constant sate of being created and destroyed 1000 of times!

Four main gods and goddess

The goddess Vishnu

Vishnu is the embodiment of mercy and goodness, the selfexistent, all-pervading power that preserves the universe and maintains the cosmic order Dharma.

The goddess Annapurna

Hindu goddess of food and cooking

The god Ganesh

The lord of all existing things.

The god Hanuman

The monkey deity know for his courage and power

The caste system

Is a system of classifying people in India in many different ways

There are four main class (also called varnas)

Brahmana Kshatriya Vaishya Shudra

The first class Brahmana

Consist of those engaged in scriptural education and teaching, essential for the continuation of knowledge

Second is Kshatriya
Take on all forms of public service, including administration, maintenance of law and order, and defense

Third Vaishya
Engage in commercial activity as businessmen

And lastly Shudra

Work as semi-skilled and unskilled laborers

What Is Atman
Atman refers to the nonmaterial self, which never changes

What is dharma?
It is the law that up holds the universe
