Minnedosas Ken and Sally LaBelle of Four Seasons Repair were nominated by their apprentice, Dylan Tardiff, for the category of rural employer of the year.They were chosen asa fi nalist andinvited to attend the awards gala. Th e apprenticeship training system relies on the dedication of employers, journey people and instructors who are passionate about sharing their experiences with Manitobas apprentices. The Apprenticeship Awards of Distinction celebrate the accomplishments of these key industry members and recognize their commitment to the future of our province, commented Th eresa Oswald, Manitoba jobs and economy minister.

Minnedosa business has been recognized for their efforts in sharing their time and talent to train apprentices and contributing to the development of certified journeypersons with a special passion and pride for their trade. Each year Apprenticeship Manitoba and the Apprenticeship and Certification Board celebrates the outstanding contributions that employers, journeypersons and instructors make to the Manitoba Apprenticeship training and certification system. For the past seven years they havepresented awards to individuals and organizations for their outstanding contributions to skilled trades in the province. Nominations were received for three categories: Employer of the Year, Rural and Urban; Journeyperson of the Year,
