e season. The following is to inform you of Young Guns BMX rider and parent expectations (collectively the Code of Conduct)andserveastheriderscommitmenttoYoungGunsBMXforthe2014raceseason. RiderConductandExpectations WhileattendingorparticipatinginYoungGunsBMXteamridersareexpectedto: 1.CommittoracingexclusivelyonbehalfofYoungGunsBMXforthedurationofthe2014season.1 2.Conductthemselvesinanappropriateandsportsmanlikemanneratalltimes; 3. Refrain from engaging in any behavior, physical, verbal or otherwise, which endangers the health, safetyorwellbeingofanyteammanager,coach,parent,rider,participant,officialorattendee. 4.Refrainfromusingnarcotics,alcoholorothercontrolledsubstancesinanymanner; 5. Refrain from using profanity at the track, in the presence of team members, especially while wearing teamapparelatthetrack,inthepitoranyotherrelatedareas; 6.Treatanyteammanager,coach,parent,rider,participant,officialorattendeewithrespectregardless ofrace,creed,color,nationalorigin,sex,sexualorientationorability; 7.Refrainfrompublicallymaking,posting,publishingorotherwisedisseminating,derogatoryremarksor comments pertaining to Young Guns BMX, its team members, managers, partners or ventures in any manner including, but not limited to, Facebook, Vintage BMX or any other forum related websites, Twitter,webblogsorothermedia. 8.Supportlocaltrackoperationsthroughfrequentparticipationatraces; 9.MakeeveryreasonableefforttoparticipateinsanctionedStateChampionshipRaceSeries; 10.Activelyparticipateinteamfundraisingefforts; 11.Attendperiodicgeneralteammeetings; 12. Maintain a 2.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) or C grade letter average or better (for those riders at thecompulsoryeducationlevel); 13.Weartheirteamjerseyatlocal,stateandnationalraces;

ParentConductandExpectations While attending or participating in USA BMX sanctioned or Young Guns BMX events parents are expectedto: 1.Conductthemselvesinanappropriateandsportsmanlikemanneratalltimes; 2.  6.Refrainfrompublicallymaking,posting,publishingorotherwisedisseminating,derogatoryremarksor comments pertaining to Young Guns BMX, its team members, managers, partners or ventures in any manner including, but not limited to, Facebook, Vintage BMX or any other forum related websites, Twitter,webblogsorothermedia. 7.Supportlocaltrackoperationsthroughfrequentparticipationatraces; 8. Make every reasonable effort to ensure rider participation in sanctioned State Championship Race Series; 9.Activelyassistridersparticipatinginteamfundraisingefforts; 10.Stayabreastofteamhappeningsbyreadingandrespondingtorelatedemailandteamnewsletters; 11.Attendperiodicgeneralteammeetings; 12.Assistteammanagementincoordinatingteamrelatedeventsasnecessary; 13. In the event of injury, ensure that riders are appropriately cleared to race by a qualified physician beforereturningtoracing; 14.Ensureriderssafetythroughpropermaintenanceofbicyclesandprotectiveequipment DisciplinaryAction Disciplinary action, up to and including suspension or removal from the Young Guns BMX team may be imposed at the discretion of Young Guns BMX team management for any action determined to be in violation of the teams Code of Conduct. Further, the team has instituted a Zero Tolerance Policy for incidents involving, but not limited to, actual physical violence, threats of physical violence, lying, cheating, stealing, damage to or tampering with track or other riders or parents property and equipment,orotheractionsdeemedtohaveviolatedthespiritoftheteamsCodeofConduct.
