Renewing Nashville: The Webquest

November 12, 2013 Dear Students, I am writing to you because our city needs your help! The people in our city are using too many nonrenewable resources. We are running out of resources! I need you to help me teach the children in Nashville about reusing renewable and nonrenewable resources. You can save our city! Will you help? Sincerely, Mayor Karl Dean

Task: Our city is running out of nonrenewable resources! Mayor Karl Dean has asked you to help teach kids in Nashville about renewable and nonrenewable resources. Your job is to create a presentation that will teach other kids in Nashville about how to reuse the earths resources. You can help save our city! Are you ready?

Process: 1. You will research renewable and nonrenewable resources. How are they different? 2. You will research different ways to reuse the earths resources. 3. Use the organizer to write down different examples of renewable and non-renewable resources. 4. Create a presentation with your partner that will convince other kids to reuse the earths resources.
