1. Match them up!
This activity develops your childs observation skills, and helps them to learn new vocabulary. Encourage your child to say the words as they match the pictures.

2. Touch and say!


This activity develops your childs recognition skills and helps them to use the new vocabulary in context. Encourage your child to touch the picture as they say the words.

3. Read it together!
This activity develops your childs communication skills. Run your finger below the words as you read (to show your child that the text goes from left to right along the page). Stop when you get to a picture and ask your child to say the word. If they cant remember the word, say it for them and ask them to repeat it. Be careful! The last word beds is plural and they need to say the s at the end of the word.
