So when i saw the $orman army fleeting the battlefield i was surprised. I didn t e%pect that and neither did Harold. !he "nglish army spread happily thinking that they won the battle, but they didn t. !he normans came out of nowhere and killed its enemy. Harold was killed, an arrow perced his right eye. &fter more than half of the "nglish army was dead the 'uke of $ormandy stopped. !here were many bodies lying on the ground and #illiam took Harold s crown and became king of "ngland.
