Dear Student Members Greetings from SAEINDIA SAEINDIA is happy to bring yet another dynamic event for its student members called CAREER START. Career Start is a platform developed for young automotive engineers to fulfil their dreams of getting placed into reputed automobile companies. The main objectives of this event are Providing an opportunity for the students to have a sustainable career. Align the students and faculty towards the need of industry. Providing an opportunity to the industry to reach out to employable and skilled engineering students Career start is a two stage process. In the first stage student should appear for a written exam called as SEAT13 (SAEINDIA Engineering Aptitude Test). The shortlisted students should appear for group discussion and personal interview based on the company. Eligibility criteria: Students in the final year of their 4 year degree program Students from EEE/ECE/Mechanical/Automobile /production or industrial engineering disciplines are eligible It is mandatory for Students to be a member of SAEINDIA to register for this program. For membership registrations follow the link provided http://www.saeindia.org/register/student/ . Students should not have any Backlogs in university examinations. Registration Process: Student members satisfying the above criteria are eligible to appear in SEAT13. Career Start application form should be filled. For application form follow http://www.saeindia.org/uploads/careerstart2013.pdf . DD for Rs.300 should be drawn in favour of SAE INDIA-EEB, Payable at Chennai. Last date for sending DDs along with registration form is 1st November 2013. We will not entertain any application received after 1st November 2013 under any circumstances. We will also not be extending the deadline. So, aspiring students are requested to submit the applications with the DD to reach us on or before 1st November 2013.
