Talent Development at BAC

Focus on differentiation, acceleration and interdisciplinary-thematic lessons The Classroom Teacher and Talent Development Facilitator collaborate in designing lessons and activities to meet the needs of high performing and gifted students. In grades 3 - 5, the Talent Development program provides a full-day intensive program where the content, objectives, and pace of the class is specifically designed to fit the needs of the gifted learner. Curriculum is modified in order that children spend more time on learning that is truly challenging. Students are expected to investigate complex ideas and explore them in more depth. Student products are held to high standards. They must demonstrate a mastery of the content as well as a depth of thought and creative application.
