CHILDREN OF 10 CITIES WILL ASK THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, TO BE DECLARED THE YEAR 2014 AS THE "YEAR OF THE DIGNITY OF CHILDREN BY A CHILDHOOD WITHOUT VIOLENCE"
THE COLORFUL AND GRAND PARADE OF THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN GREAT AND COLORFUL PARADE OF THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH ROAM THE STREETS OF LIMA, IN THE 24 YEARS CELEBRATION OF THE ADOPTION OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD
On Thursday, November 21 from 08:00 am at the Plaza Francia, hundreds of children and teenagers from different schools, arts and cultural organizations are going to participate in the Grand Parade "Together for a childhood without violence." As part of the National Campaign "Childhood without punishment, childhood without violence," Congress President Mr. Fredy Otrola, in company of a multiparty committee of congressmen receive children and adolescents in the Plaza Bolivar. This parade, which is being organized by the Institute of Education for Adolescents and Children Workers - INFANT, and Collective Organizations Children and Teens Unite for Children CONNAUPI, with support from the Bernard van Leer Foundation, to generate and require initiatives of the Peruvian authorities to promote effective public policies that guarantee the fulfillment of all the rights of children and adolescents in our country. But this is an activity full of color, art, joy, dreams and hopes, which are joined in solidarity to raise their voice of protest and demand to promote a law that protects from all forms of violence to children in our country.
