    The Charger Circuits / Circuit Battery - Charging Regulator can charge a 12-Volt battery at up to six amps and accommodate other voltages and currents from 6 to 600 Volts and up to 300 Amperes with suitable components. When the battery reaches its fully charged voltage level, the charging SCR shuts off and a trickle charge determined by the value of R4 continues to flow to maintain the charge. The circuit can be used to charge lead-acid batteries, wet or dry cell batteries, and rechargeable batteries.

    Other voltages and currents , from 6 to 600 Volts and up to 300 Ampere , can be accomodated by suitable component selection. When the battery voltage reches its fully charged level , the charging SCR shuts off , and a trickle charge , as determined by the value of R4 , continues to flow.
