Adam Stoodley - Biography

Adam is a London based Flautist and Saxophonist striving to forge a career in the Musical Theatre Industry. Now currently in his third year at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Adam is studying with Anna Pope and Alan Baker (Piccolo). Here, he has participated in many masterclasses with high profile professionals and has played with the Trinity Laban Sinfonia and Wind Orchestra. Whilst studying at Trinity, Adam has also formed a Trio with a Violinist and a Cellist and recently was asked to perform for the Mayor of Lambeth. Adam is also a keen saxophonist with a natural aptitude for the instrument, this has seen him become an accomplished doubler. He has experience performing on all of the instruments in the saxophone family, both in Big Bands and Jazz Bands - as well as performing in a number of Pit Orchestras. He is also looking forward to working on chamber music with a newly formed Saxophone Quartet at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Adams ambitions lie in the musical Theatre industry, regularly performing for the Quay Players Amateur Dramatic Society and Mill Hill Operatic Society, he has played through many scores such as: Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat, Beauty and the Beast, Kiss Me, Kate and Sweet Charity. Adam was also successful in auditioning for the National Youth Music Theatre production of West Side Story of which he also doubled on Piccolo, Flute, Soprano Saxophone and Bass Saxophone. With experience of performing as a soloist, chamber musician or an orchestral player, Adam is available for recording sessions, weddings and other functions as well as being available to teach in the London area.
