HAVE (Possession)
We use HAVE alone or with GOT to express possession:

I have got two brothers. Have you got any? She hasnt got a good job. PRESENT SIMPLE
AFFIRMATIVE I have got Ive got* You have got youve got She has got shes got He has got hes got It has got its got We have got weve got You have got youve got They have got theyve got

We have two houses near the coast. They dont have lessons on Tuesday.

SHORT ANSWERS:
Yes, I have. / No, I havent. Yes, he has. / No, he hasnt.

PRESENT SIMPLE

Yes, I do. / No, I dont. Yes, he does. / No, he doesnt.

PAST SIMPLE

* We can contract the form HAVE GOT (Ive got, hes got), but we cant contract the form of HAVE without GOT (Ive, hes, etc.) nor the Past form (Id, youd, etc.)
