PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Ertimix 230 is a non-hydrogenated vegetable fat, manufactured by refining a blend of Palm Oil, Palm Kernel Oil and / or Coconut Oil. The process involves bleaching and deodorising the oil. The vegetable fat is texturised before it is filled into polythene lined cases.

Ertimix 230 is contained in a polythene liner inside a 12.5kg net sealed fibreboard case.
Ertimix 230 should be stored in cool, dry conditions away from odorous materials. The product has a shelf life of at least 6 months.
Each case is clearly labelled with the product name, the net weight, a lot number and the best before date.
MICROBIOLOGICAL STANDARDS
Ertimix 230 is produced at temperatures in excess of 100C and has a low water activity. It would not normally be expected to support microbial growth and is considered as a low microbiological risk. Ertimix 230 should have a solid aerated crystalline texture and an off white colour. It should have a clean bland flavour, with an absence of off flavours, of odours and taints.
