In this technology has high energy focused beams having a spot of diameter a few fraction mm are used as an ie heat source for processing metals. This intense heat source has an very good capability of raising a material to any temperature in an very short time. An electron beam machine is an engineered assembly of all the components (beam, electrical, electronics, vacuum and mechanical) to realize the hi-tech metal machioning process on the shop floor. An EB machine is essentially a vacuum chamber fitted with an electron source, energized from an externally connected electrical power source. The system is having a wide range of controls, safety components and tools. A job handling system provides the holding and manipulation of the job.
