EVALUATION:

The 'erformance of the candidate in each semester sha!! &e eva!uated su&*ect- ise+ ith a ma1imum of 100 mar%s for theory and 100 mar%s for 8a&oratory+ on the &asis of 9nterna! Eva!uation and End 0emester E1amination. /.1 :or the theory su&*ects 50 mar%s sha!! &e a arded &ased on the 'erformance in the End 0emester E1amination+ 60 mar%s sha!! &e a arded &ased on the 9nterna! Eva!uation. The interna! eva!uation sha!! &e made &ased on the #)e$# e of the mar%s secured in the t o Mid Term-E1aminations conducted+ one in the midd!e of the 0emester and the other immediate!y after the com'!etion of instruction. Each midterm e1amination sha!! &e conducted for duration of 120 minutes ith 6 (uestions to &e ans ered out of 6 (uestions. :or 'ractica! su&*ects. 50 mar%s sha!! &e a arded &ased on the 'erformance in the End 0emester E1aminations+ 60 mar%s sha!! &e a arded &ased on the day-to-day 'erformance in 8a&oratory as 9nterna! The De'artmenta! 4ommittee consists of ;ead of the De'artment+ su'ervisor and t o other senior facu!ty mem&ers of the de'artment. :or 0eminar there i!! &e on!y interna! eva!uation of /0 mar%s. ) candidate has to secure a minimum of /03 to &e dec!ared successfu!. ) candidate sha!! &e deemed to have secured the minimum academic re(uirement in a su&*ect if he secures a minimum of 603 of mar%s in the End E1amination and a minimum aggregate of /03 of the tota! mar%s in the End 0emester E1amination and 9nterna! Eva!uation ta%en together. 9f a candidate secures a minimum of 603 of mar%s in the End E1amination and 603 -693 of the tota! mar%s in the End 0emester E1amination and 9nterna! Eva!uation ta%en together and secures an overa!! aggregate of /03 in the tota! semester he may &e 'assed in those su&*ects a!so. 9n case the candidate does not secure the minimum academic re(uirement in any su&*ect (as s'ecified in /.6) he has to rea''ear for the End E1amination in that su&*ect. ) candidate sha!! &e given one chance to re-register for each su&*ect 'rovided the interna! mar%s secured &y a candidate are !ess than /03 and he has fai!ed in the end e1amination. 9n such case candidate must re-register for the su&*ect(s) and secure re(uired minimum attendance.
