4 Liter Engine
4, May, 2011

My partner and I constructed a 2.4L 4-cylinder Engine. The engine is a four stroke with a single cam. The block is approximately 16.75 inches in length and 9 inches in width, with a dual overhead cam. Its a four stroke spark ignition internal combustion.

Conclusion We started building our engine with no idea how an engine worked or what parts were used to operate an engine. So first we had to look up details and tried learning how an engine processed and functioned, and failed. Even though, we didnt know how an engine mechanically worked or how it was put together we still tried and mold an engine together using pictures. We solved our issues asking questions and them being answered with demonstrations. We created our engine with many different methods. Many patterns we used to create the flywheel, timing belt, and the cam shaft. A few revolves were in place, and of course extrusions. We started off late since the 2 of us made our group after leaving an earlier group that wouldnt cooperate with us. Since then we worked very diligently trying to build this engine from the ground up. Works Cited
