Justice Dean 11/10/2013 ENGL 106 Aria Halliday Annotated Citations Sansgiry, Sujit, Monali Bhosle, and Kavita Sail. Factors That Affect Academic Performance Among Pharmacy Students. American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education 70 (2006): Article 104. Web. This article is about the findings of the research of factors that affect the academic performance of pharmacy students. The authors used primary research methods by using surveys. The article was very thorough with results. The authors also included several sources throughout the article. The sources they used showed why they chose to research the way they did and also explained what their results meant. Since the authors cited so many sources to back up their research, the article does seem reliable. The research does not seem at all biased. The results and research methods are well documented by including several tables and an appendix in the article. The article is scholarly and is peer-reviewed. It was published in the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education. In my analysis I covered more specifically the ways that the research was done. This article helps me understand discourse in my academic field. I am majoring in pre-pharmacy, so I can relate and understand the results of their research. This article will also allow me to analyze the types of research that the researchers used.
