A Frightening Day

It is a sunny, clear day at a gate in Paris, France, during the French Revolution. There is an old hag in a vegetable cart pulled by a skinny horse. The hags grandson with the plague is sitting in the back of the cart. The hag is wearing old, colorless boots and a dirty, tan skirt. She is wearing a black shirt, covered by a knitted shawl. Her face is long and skinny, red, wrinkly, and very ugly. Likewise, her chin is baggy. One side of her colorless lips is raised. Similarly, her nose is curved and is rather large. The hags eyes appear glassy, large, and no particular color. One eye the left one is closed. Frighteningly, the worst part of the hag is her hair. It is dirty, brownish-gray, long, and stringy, and it hangs in front of her face. A cream-colored lacy bonnet sits atop her head. It was now time for the ugly hags cart to be inspected. She revealed that her grandson has the plague to the gate guards, so they immediately let the ugly hag through.
