‘The undersigned affiant, being duly sworn, deposes and says:
1) The undersigned, Det. John Rafalowski, being duly sworn, does depose and state that he is a member of
the Ansonia Police Department and has been since June 27,1978. At alll mes mentioned herein he was
acting as a member of said department. The following facts and circumstances are stated from personal
knowledge and observations as well as information received from other police officers acting in their official
capacity and from official police reports and statements made by prudent and credible witnesses.
| 2)That on July 1, 2009 at 11:13 AM Officer William Dicicco, Officer Barry MeMahon and Officer Phil
Landona were dispatched to 8 Cook St. after a female caller reported coming home and finding some one
| inher house. Upon their arrival the officers were met by Ida-Marie Lucarelli who stated that when she got
home and walked into her front door, she was attacked by some one that was inside her house. At this time
Officer Dicicco called the station and requested an ambulance for ida-Marie who had several visible injuries.
Officer Landona talked to a neighbor SIMI who stated that she heard Ida-Marie screaming for
help and when she went outside she saw Ida Marie sitting on the front sidewalk of her house crying,
