Profile: Ida Peng


Ms. Peng Aiqun (Ida) is a Commercial Specialist
in the U.S. Commercial Service Beijing, China,
covering financial services industry. Since
joining the U.S. Commercial Service in 2002,
Ms. Peng has built up a comprehensive network
of Chinese financial institutions in both the
government and private sectors. Some of these
institutions include the People's Bank of China,
China Banking Regulatory Commission, Chinese
Ministry of Finance, National Development and
Reform Commission, Chinese Ministry of
Commerce, CCPIT, China Development Bank,
China Ex-Im Bank, Chinese 'big four' banks (i.e.
Bank of China, China Construction Bank,
Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and
Agricultural Bank of China), as well as Chinese
second-tier commercial banks, Chinese city
commercial banks and other financial institutions
and finance IT companies.

Over the past three years, Ms. Peng has helped


numerous U.S. financial IT and services
companies enter the China market, and has
written various market research reports on the
topics of the bankcard market in China, Chinese
banking system, Chinese leasing market and
trade & corporate finance in China etc.

Ms. Peng graduated with a MBA degree from


Cardiff University, U.K. Prior to joining the U.S.
