This element makes it easy to have a brief description in weekly lesson plans. A second key element of a lesson plan is that the materials are listed. It will make the lesson go smoothly if you have everything prepared before the lesson. One of the most important elements is the objective, which includes the common core standard, learning targets, and vocabulary. This is a key aspect to the lesson because you need to be sure that the lesson covers the standards we are supposed to teach. Another key element is procedures. It is important that you have instructions so that you are able to run the lesson smoothly and dont forget any vital steps. This is also a good thing to have in case you have a substitute teacher that day. One key element of a lesson is to include any differentiated instruction, extensions, and any background knowledge that is required for this to be a successful lesson. The last key element is how the students will be assessed. Whether it is formally or informally, it is important to plan ahead. There are many key elements that make up an efficient lesson plan.
