A-Ha Moment

An a-ha moment in this class for me was when I completed the assignment in which we actually had to teach our lesson. The student I was teaching the lesson to had already completed that exact lesson and he didnt want to follow the lesson exactly the way I had written it. The a-ha moment came when I realized that I will probably always have to make adjustments are anticipate that my lesson may need to be tweaked in order to be effective. It also made me realize I should probably have a back up or go to lesson in case the one I planned for will not work for that particular class. It was definitely an eye opening experience that will help me be a more effective teacher.
