Dear Mr. Ferretti, I am applying for the English Language Arts position at Boise High School. I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in English from Nevada State College in May 2009 and completed my student teaching at Lowell Scott Middle School in the fall of 2013. While completing my student teaching, I had a very talented Co-Teacher and learned many valuable lessons that I will take with me and implement in my own classroom. Although I did student teach with middle school students, I have great rapport with high school aged students and know my teaching style will work well at many different grade levels. Like Boise High School, LSMS is an Idaho GoOn school. I feel it is important to show students what they can accomplish and become if they set their minds to it. I value a good education and I would be the kind of teacher who would show the importance of going on to higher education.
