Objective

My objective for being a Physical Education teacher is to start kids in the school district that I am working for to enjoy physical activity and learn new things about sports and exercises that they may never have known about before. Being able to have fun and learn is what physical education is all about.

Experience

I have been a counselor at youth basketball camps throughout each summer and continue to do so. At these camps I teach the campers different skills that apply to basketball along with teamwork. I also was the captain of my high school basketball team that won states my senior year, and during that year I grew a lot as a leader and a person. This would help me in a teaching setting because I would be able to relate to the kids and be able to be a good role model and teacher to them.

Education

Graduated from Albany Academy 13. Entered SUNY Cortland in Fall of 2013.
