Time: 6:05 PM 1. What is your role in the club? A. I am President, I organize things, make sure everybody is happy, and make sure everybody has a job to do. 2. How did you end up joining Chinese club? A. I joined my Sophomore year, mostly because I wanted to practice Chinese, learn more about my culture, and because I had friends in the club. 3. What is the clubs purpose or goals? A. To promote Chinese culture, language, education, and help people who are learning Chinese. 4. What are some reasons to join Chinese club? A. If you are interested in your roots (if you are of Chinese descent/American born Chinese etc.) or to broaden your horizons. 5. How would somebody go about joining the club? A. Anybody can just come if they want to. 6. Does the club have any guidelines that they follow? A. As long as its related to Chinese culture. 7. Does the club have any special roles throughout the university? A. The club hosts a Chinese New Year potluck, and some other holiday celebrations.

Preston Chamberlin 8. What, if anything, is the most important thing you have learned or gained from being in the club? A. Knowledge of the culture and a growing interest to learn more. 9. Does the club have a special symbol or mascot, or person they look up to? A. Panda 10. Can you describe Chinese club in 3 words or less? A. Culture, language, food.
