to each term. Students were asked to write out the definition of each term and if they were unsure of it, to circle the word. This is an increase of 39% of the correct definitions given by the students, as a whole class.

Individuals Quantitative Data Low- The low performing student in this lesson increased his correct responses from 3 to 7 from pre to post assessment. That is an increase in 30%. Some responses may have been counted as correct in the post assessment, but the wording was not clear and these were marked as incorrect. Learning is evident in this student thought. Medium- The student that is representative as the average student correctly defined 3 out 13 (23%) of the terms on the pre-assessment. He correctly defined all 13 terms on the postassessment. This is clear evidence of learning with an increase of 77% in the number of correct responses. This student was very engaged as was most of the class, he participated in creating the motions for the vocabulary terms as well as participated while the whole class was doing the motions together. High- The high performing student in this lesson increased her correct responses from 76% to 100%, an increase of 24%. She knew all of the vocabulary terms that the class had learned at the point of the pre-assessment; and she correctly defined the new terms on the post-assessment. Qualitative Data Low- This student was engaged for the most part. He did have to be reminded to join the class at certain times during instruction. However, when his attention was placed on what was going on he seemed to enjoy the activity and was engaged. Medium- The student representative of the average of the class was very engaged during the lesson. He enjoyed the motions and was able to stay focused during the scavenger hunt as well. He helped come up with the motion for the natives and constitution. High- The high performing student was not present at the begging of the lesson. She joined in on the scavenger hunt when she returned to class and was able to stay focused. She was one of the first ones done completing the scavenger hunt. She enjoyed the motions for the vocabulary terms and was very engaged throughout the lesson.
