Finland is a country which is known as The land of thousand lakes
becouse the country has many lakes in it.
POPULATION
Finland has a population of 5238460 people and has an average population density of 17 people per sq. Kilometre. Finland is most sparely populated country in Europe after Norway and Iceland.
Language
Most of the Finnish People speak Finnish as their mother tongue. Finnish is a member of the Baltic Finnic Subgroup of the Uralic Languages and is typologically between inflected and agglutinative languages.
The Judicial system of Finland is a civil law system devided between civil and criminal courts and administrative courts
Economy
Finland has a highly industrialised free-market economy with a per capita output equal to that of other western economies such as France, Germany, Sweden or the UK.
Transportation
The extensive road system is utilized by most internal cargo and passenger traffic. The main international passenger gateway is Helsinki Vantaa Airport
Tourism
The Finnish landscape is covered with pine forests, rolling hills and complemented with a labyrinth of lakes and inlets.

Various sporting events are popular in Finland. Pesapallo is the national sport of Finland. The most popular sports in Finland in terms of media coverage are Formula One, rallying, ice hockey and football
