State of Our Nation

Cont. from pg.1

July 7th 2013 Nevada, A massive underground farming operation was seized and destroyed by government officials. The farm, which was located deep in the Colorado Rockies, sprawled about 50 acres of land and had a wide variety of crops. Three civilian guards that were on the land have been taken into custody and have yet to be identified to the public. Law enforcement believes this could have been an operation of the revolutionary Benjamin Solomon but they have not released any evidence to support their claims. At this moment, NGZ has no means of contacting the famous revolutionary so we cannot confirm or deny this either. Officials released this statement, On Tuesday the 7th we made a major victory in the war against food contamination. In the North Colorado Mountains we raided and seized 50 acres of an unauthorized farming operation. They were growing several vegetable and grain varieties, such as tomatoes and wheat, all found to be contaminated by E Coli. This is a great moment for our public health and safety to be able to keep this dangerous food out of the market and citizens homes. We will continue to push forward and crack down on illegally grown produce. Of course, most will just see statement as a thinly veiled excuse to gain more control over what we are consuming. Sadly, these assumptions are probably correct in their thinking. The Federal Government has been pushing down harder on independently grown gardens and farms in the last year. Despite there being no law that states private citizens cannot grow their own produce, law enforcement seeks out and destroys crops in the name of food contamination. Yet despite these private crops being destroyed, corporation farming is doing better than ever. No corporate farm has had government reports of E coli contamination and in fact our country hasnt had a public outbreak of contamination since 2005. What makes this extra maddening is that the majority of the population is still suffering from massive food insecurity. Federal forces seem to be pushing towards a centralized, controlled farming system it seems in order to better control the urbanized population. If you are still curious about growing your own produce, dont lose all hope however. If youre garden is half an acre or less there is a good chance law enforcement will overlook it. As mentioned before there is no specific law banning gardening so even if your garden is seized, you probably will not be arrested and sent to labor camps. If you have somehow managed to still have a large plot of land you can always become a satellite of a larger corporation. This isnt very desirable since deals with business will take out 90% or more of your produce and pay you only a tiny margin of profit. You will have to follow the corporate regulations and be forced to grow what produce they tell you to plant. Even more of a disappointment is that you will be monitored closely. One seed or plant that doesnt follow their strict genetically engineered guidelines will result in your property being sold to the Federal Bank and you out on the street. It may not be worth the trouble but the benefit is that fresh produce would only be a backyard away.

Since the great cleanse that wiped out the world as we knew it this is what we have lived by in order to keep us from destroying ourselves like so many other countries did. For a while it did work. Things were hard but we did endure; that is all that we did however, endure. Those times have now passed. We now live in a time where the rest of these words must come to pass. We dont want to just endure anymore; we want to live. We want peace.

We gave away our freedoms and control so that we could survive the worst catastrophe the world has ever seen in recorded history. We succeeded where others around the world failed but now the very leaders that swore to protect us are now abusing us. The scare of the great cleanse is over but the shadow of enslavement now looms over all of us. Now is the time to question your way of life. Now is the time to wonder at what is really being said to your face. Now is the time to fight back for what is ours.

The good news is most of you probably won't qualify to be thrown into the Core. As long as you follow our guidelines and only keep one copy of NGZ publication at any one time, you will likely only face two to five years for possession of enemy propaganda. As tempting as it may be, you must not hold onto old publications or dispose of them improperly; recycling and landfill centers have been alerted to turn in any NGZ documents they find. Over here, and hurry up! Marie is waving from a few houses down the deserted street. Everyone in this Zone is now under a dusk Curfew. A response from Federal Forces after the latest unpleasantness with the local gardens. The gardens were shutdown and all the produce confiscated following the discovery of E Coli contamination and the local neighborhood co-op was disbanded. There is just enough room to work together to prepare a meal, as long as you dont mind passing utensils and food back and forth. Never the less Marie manages to make the room inviting, even homey. The same could be said for the rest of the one bedroom apartment that she shares with her two sons, and until a few years ago, her husband. She is a dedicated mother and wife. Chemical X

The FDA has legalized use of Chemical x in processed food production. Chemical X is a revolutionary long lasting preservative for unpackaged perishables. Injected fruits and vegetables with Chemical X can last for months on the shelf. It has potential for meats and dairy products as well, preserving them up to 300% times the regular amount that they would go unrefrigerated. Nevertheless, despite the FDA approving the preservatives use in commercial products, it is still widely untested on human consumption.

Dear Enforcer on my street... Go away. I know everyone says it about their own local jackboot, but Im just about done with your protection. Every week I hear about you or one of your buddies harassing law abiding citizens, while actual crimes go unnoticed. Yeah, I see you looking the other way as a junkie files open a bike lock; but what I dont see is some understanding as a mother passes by with a bag full of unstamped fruits and vegetables. Do you think were monsters for having standards? Do you think were undermining your society when we make a salad from cabbage that hasnt been picked with prisoner slave labor? Maybe you do, but just remember that this regime is going to change, and you have to live with the fact you were a cog in their machine.

Annually, the States media declares new jumps in production output. Its not uncommon to see promises of improved products and sales in boardroom meetings, but recently they declare a jump that must have been impossible. I am of course discussing the Banner Spike Controversy, and the subsequent reform of our food regulatory system. Make no mistake, the promise to recreate the organization into a trustworthy construction is a complete fallacy; we have done nothing but complain about a leak; and the following patch on the aura of secrecy has fooled everyone that corruption isnt inside. To us this is as transparent as an aquarium, and we can all see what is swimming inside.

Processed food is producing skewed supply rates; in reality were making marginal gains and squandering it on creating new processed food to fill the gaps.

The Price of Organic Food

By James Cameron

Cooking is Part of Us
By Mark Summa

One thing that will never change is the dependence that humans need for food. With the large demand for food, our government is forcing the remaining farmers to use chemicals over conventional ways to grow enough for everyone. This has caused people to worry about what they are eating and saying that farms should return to natural and organic was of growing food to provide healthier products. Organically grown food contributes few benefits to your health such as lower chances for cancer. The family meal is one of the few rituals that is consistently shared by all classes and creeds of society. Unless you live alone and dont have social co-workers, non family members will likely eat with you as well. With this ritual being so commonplace, how much does it define of whom we think we are? Well, since the foundation of the States there has been a mark able drop in family structure. Fragmented families create smaller, economically crippled units; and these are vulnerable to become wholly reliant on the States processed foods.

In a post in the U.S.S.A. weekly, Ms. Nestel stated, The Stanford study made a big deal about nutrients, but nutrients are not the point. The point of organic production is its effects on the health of people and the planet. I believe that the point she is trying to make is that organic food is not just supposed to be healthier for people but for animals and the planet as well. Humans are not the only living thing that needs nutrition. If we were to put substances into the ground that would ultimately not harm human food supplies but would make the local ecosystem fall into disrepair, we need to change. We have to learn how to live with the planet instead of just on it.

This is what our government would have you believe. That they are doing all that they can in order to provide as much food for everyone after the great cleanse. There is no truth to this however. With the amount of food steadily holding its output, the number of farms that are being closed down are at an all time high. Looking at the raw data alone will show anyone that there is no possible way for our government to supply as much organic food as they claim they are while practically the only farms left in the country are ones that are owned by corporations.

This was obvious before I investigated, so much so even the State Paper has mentioned this in one of their better articles. Yet when I went out to meet some of these families I noticed a very consistent theme in the house: very little cooking and fresh ingredients. I didnt consider the idea that not eating together was the issue until I heard a young boys story of how his older brother used to make a great soup, and how his family would come together at dinner; regardless of the days previous grievances. That older brothers death in the Chicago food riots prompted a slow breakdown of the familys cohesion. It would be foolish to imply that this alone was a factor in the subsequent disproportion of the family, but its difficult to imagine it had nothing to do with their predicaments.

I digress though, if you are fortunate enough to get a hold of some real organic food or your private farm has not been compromised yet, it has been

To test this, I visited a family active in the Free Food movement and asked them to eat alone. I couldnt ask them to eat processed food on a consistent basis, but I did tell them it would help. Changing a Society without Violence

obvious problem of relying on unhealthy microwaved food and other unprepared meals. If something as simple as eating alone and not cooking can influence our cohesion as a society, it is a surprise that its the States who seek to destabilize it?

Immigration was curbed in the early 80s, diminishing our reputation as a society with its doors open to the world. While reduced to a percentage of what is was originally, it has not fully stopped even in the face of massive crackdowns across the States. Having met one or two of these recent additions to our society, I talked about their perceptions of food in this country. It is very hard for me to find the food I know here. says Mr. U, an alias used to preserve his freedom here, I am told to try food the distribution centers give us, then buy what I like. Its hard because cooking was important to me in [my homeland].

Mr. U has also noted that the food has caused him to gain a little weight, a side effect of the oversaturation of fats and sugars that have become a staple of his limited food budget. I enjoy the things with chocolate, but these things have too much. I feel sick after [I eat too many] and then I dont want any more- yes? he laughs, rubbing his gut in mock pain. My friend has the diabetes from too much bad food. I dont want to get them either, so I only eat a little chocolate now, and I eat at the local food shares as much as possible.

The most recent clashes between militants in the South Dakota bullet belt led to a number of activists dead in a number of hours. The National Defense Forces reputation for violence has been that way since its transformation from the mostly passive National Guard in 1985; and it did not make exception to the armed members of the 3dom compound. Hunting rifles and buried busses didnt last against armored vehicles and the vicious thugs in paramilitary gear the NDF deployed. In addition to the 12 dead and 19 wounded, the crackdown killed off the entire Free Food scene in South Dakota, scaring off those who expected to be tracked down due to their affiliation to 3dom.

It would be irresponsible to recruit someone under so much scrutiny, but the food share is the first step to appreciating the concept of free food. I hope Mr. U finds a way to restore some of his older eating habits, and gets back into the satisfying experience of cooking.

This is why the most effective weapon against the States is nonviolence, and why we always plead with new members to forgo dangerous armed groups such as 3dom to keep the cause free of terrorist accusations and avoid being targeted for even greater violence. The States cannot be defeated on a battlefield; they must be defeated in the hearts and minds of the people; and eventually the political realm. Until elections free from the meddling hand of Food Conglomerates, we have to stay active with Civil Disobedience and ideological warfare. Spread a good idea, and it will take root like the very food we want to grow.

There are dozens of studies that have been conducted before the great cleanse with accredited universities about the health benefits of organic food on the body. Nearly every one of them has stated that there are no immediate health benefits for eating organic foods.

At this time it is your choice as to which food you would like to eat, although I use the word choice lightly. Some day if we were to break this dictatorship like government it might be proven that organic food could be better for your health. On the other had it might show that organic food is nothing but a scam to force you to spend more for food. Finding an answer is important because it could affect future generations not only in their health but also in the way that they grow their food or how they treat the land that they grow food in. Personally, I believe that organic food is nothing more than an attempt to sell a placebo product to gain more money from the masses. This is nothing more than a ploy to quell the masses when they still hold all of the power.

Letters to the Editor

Cont. from pg 4

apartment, me, my parents and this couple. Oh well, things could be worse I guess. Its been a whole week since we moved in and the only upside to this place is that I havent seen one policeman. People seem to be freer here and laws seem to be more lax. But I think that can be bad as well.

Reader: I want to grow a beard Editor: Then do it.

Editor:This Letter appeared to have been scrawled on tissue or toilet paper with some kind of pencil or soft charcoal. It was found on NGZs doorstep tucked under the side of the welcome mat. Certain parts of the letter looks like they were ripped out or smudged to be incomprehensible.

Reader: Thousands under persecution. labor 12 hours a day. Starving. (Incomprehensible) under gunpoint. Help. Addison, Alabama. G(incomprehensible) inspections- (incomprehensible)- small window for escape. (large chunk tore out) Send help.

Im pretty sure I saw a dead body in the street today but nobody did anything to clean it up or even report it. My mother told me not to go out at night because its too dangerous.

Editor: Unfortunately, these type of letters are all too common. Poor souls send letters hoping we can help them only to have important information rubbed or ripped out on the journey. Writing utensils and paper to write on are close to impossible to acquire in labor camps and we understand that but we at NGZ cant contact the proper channels when there isnt enough information to work with. Its a matter of risk.

Food is scarce as well. There are little markets set up but with both my parents and I unemployed we can hardly even afford one meal a day. Tonight we ate a dog for dinner. It reminded me of a little puppy that our family had when I was little. I was so hungry I ate it anyways and didnt ask my dad

This next letter is from the government sanctioned project that is Salt Lake Valley. Recently public welfare relocated hundreds of thousands of the impoverished and destitute into this shantytown. This letter is a window-in-the-life of an occupant in the Salt Lake Projects.

Reader: Hi NGZ! Long time fan, but this is my first time writing in. My family has just been moved to the Salt Lake Projects and I already hate it. The buildings reach so high where I live that sunlight almost doesnt reach the ground floor. Its always noisy even in the middle of the night and everything smells like piss and garbage. We were assigned a tiny one bedroom apartment, but when we arrived there was already a couple living there. After talking to them we discovered that we were actually meant to share the place with them! Thats five people in one

where he found it.

Hopefully things will improve here, but I kind of doubt it. Sincerely,

Salt Lake Bum

Editor: This letter is from the California Correctional Center. As a reminder to our readers: the county and state level of prisons do allow their inmates to send letters out but the contents are highly monitored and it is difficult for prisoners to convey what the real environment is like behind bars. Spelling is left the way it was originally written.

A lot of readers have been asking that letters from Springcreek be published. We have not received any new letters or information from the inside of Springcreek. The last time we had a letter smuggled to us

Reader: Good day to you my mother! Under the correctional eye of our was six months ago and it was government I feel that my sins are being washed away. All I do during the entire published in NGZ #17. Rest day is participate in constructive work. Reformative lectures and classes are also assured that as soon we receive something we are encouraged to attend. Dad is doing ok I hope? Sometimes if anything at all from Springcreek were on really good behavior they reward us with a steak dinner! this will be the first place that youll Korn is growing good in the country I hear. Im excited to come home after my sentence is over. Lets do something fun like go bowling or watch a movie. Lots of the guards here are really polite and help me get by. Please send me another care package. Everyone loved the last one and its easy to make friends here when youre sharing awesome homemade food. Outside of the prison it sounds like the government is still having some trouble with those damned revolutionaries. Prison life isnt that bad in comparison. Lights out is at 9:00 and we get 3 meals a day. Every day we get lots of time to work outside and stretch our muscles in the sun. find it published.

Love, (Name withdrawn for his security)

Editor: We receive many letters from prison but somehow this one caught our eye. Several things stuck out to us, such as the one misspelled word and the fact that care packages cannot be sent to prisons. So we started searching for a clue or message hidden in the letter and we found one. Its very simple and leaves some questions but it helps portray the brutality of our state prison systems. I wont type out the message here, just look at the first letter of each sentence.
