Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern hosted a week long Kids Special to promote CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2. Rusty Bucket added a NEW, Spaghetti and Meatballs, kids menu item for the week. In addition every kids meal they gave out the child received a CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 coloring sheet and activity book. The restaurant promoted the special through an e-blast to all members, social media outlets and in store flyers.

Description:

The Solon Community Center hosted a CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS movie watch party on Sunday, September 22nd for all the families in the community. Kids and parents of all ages came out for a special screening of the first CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS. All the kids received pencil kits, activity books, coloring sheets and complimentary popcorn. All the families could register to win a CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 prize pack which included t-shirt, and four passes courtesy of Digiplex to see the film. Everyone was so excited for the sequel.

On September 14, the biggest mall in Cleveland, SouthPark Mall, hosted a CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 playdate. Two play dates occurred, one in the afternoon and one in the evening with endless activities. There was story time with Miss Lisa, a make & take craft where kids created their own spaghetti necklace/bracelet, a coloring station where kids could color sheets and activity books, and snack time was provided by SUBWAY with their meatball subs. All families could register to win CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 advanced screening passes and prize pack which included: a t-shirt, one-sheet, family four pack of passes and a pencil kit. Their very own Flint Lockwood was around talking to all the kids and taking photos with the guests.

The Cleveland Metroparks sent out a special CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 Kids Club eblast to their 20,000 members. The eblast featured the website, synopsis, along with a GOFOBO code for family four packs of tickets to the advance screening. The KidsClub also passed out CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 t-shirts, pencil kits, mini one-sheet, and activity books at the Family Campfire at the Beach event.

CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 was promoted at the Young Chef's Academy's Open House in Cleveland on September 7th. Being one of four sponsors, CLOUDY 2 was giving a special station where children were encouraged to come up with their own foodimal! Kids loved being so creative to come up with their own foodimal creation. Great Lakes Mall promoted the event through their Facebook and Twitter pages as well as an event on their page, they also sent out an e-blast to their 20,000 subscribers encouraging them to come to the event. Young Chef Academy worked with the kids to help them create their foodimal and also offered a special on their weekly classes for all the guests. Participants received CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 activity books, coloring sheets and pencil kits. Guests could also register to win a CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 prize pack which included advance screening passes.

Description:

The CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 PA Tour in Cleveland consisted of a full day of radio and TV talk show appearances. The tour began with a pre-recorded appearance on CBS's WDOK-FM (AC) 'Jen and Tim In The Morning' show. Host Chuck Booms of WKRK-FM (Sports Talk) also gave CLOUDY 2 a mention on his show "Kiley and Booms" after seeing Pickle and Barry in the studio. The characters then had a live appearance on WJW-TV's (FOX) "New Day Cleveland" with hosts David Moss and Natalie Herbick. Finally they had a taped appearance on WOIO-TV's (CBS) "The Buzz" with Chris Van Vliet.

The Character Costume Tour promoted CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 at the 117th Cuyahoga County Fair held at the Berea Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 10th. The Cuyahoga County Fair includes midway rides, food, live music and thousands of animals and exhibits for the whole family to enjoy.
