Narrative Essay

Sometimes it is difficult to explain why a meal is so important in the life of a musician. We are very sensitive people, so a little word or a little gesture, coming from somebody special can make the difference between a regular evening, and something to remember forever. The quality of the food also defines the mood with which people talk at the table. That meal made my night memorable. I had attended a company dinner, but nothing could prepare me to what happened that afternoon. Perhaps because it is the first time that I have a job in the world of music. It all started at 1:30 hours at Parilladas Uruguayas restaurant, which as I was informed later was the best Uruguayan restaurant in Ecuador. How strange! Now I understand the prices, of course. The place was beautiful, and drinks very good, especially the red wine. I do not remember how late the meal went on. That day I decided to leave my cell phone at home so I didnt realized about the hour, after giving to the door of the restaurant with champagne, we decided to go to a discotheque called Circus, but it was too late and it was closed because it was Monday, so we decided to move about ten feet to the right to get into the Terapia, a cafe -pub perfect for the occasion. A few drinks , some few games of pool , others immersed in endless talk about work , friendship , love ... And now only the memory of the laughter, the toasts, dances, new relationships... that dinner for always remember. The last? Maybe. I hope not. Personally, that night I met the woman of my dreams. Her name was Jenny. I dream one day we will be married and have five beautiful kids. Her smile showed me the way to happiness that night , and continues to do so until today.
