Trip to Santa Marta

During the December holidays I went with my family to a trip to

Santa Marta, the trip was exhausting because it took us around 6
hours to reach our destination.
We stayed in a hotel facing the sea, with a wonderful and
comfortable view. Immediately, we went out to lunch a delicious
fish and french fries. After that we took a tour of the beach,
laughing and enjoying the hot day.
Back at the hotel, I watched TV and took a nap. At night we went
out to explore the beautiful and busy streets of this city in search of
a good restaurant. We found an Italian one, and I ordered a
chicken and mushroom pizza. With a full belly I talked about many
things with my family, having a good time together.
The next morning, I got up early and ate an arepa de huevo. We
all went out to an aquarium, but unfortunately we didn't go inside.
And we spend the rest of the morning visiting beautiful places. At
night I went with my sister and my cousins to a restaurant with
Caribbean music (salsa, guaracha, vallenato) there were a lot of
people dancing, I ordered a cherry juice and I really enjoyed the
night watching my sister and cousins dance.
The next day we went out in a van to visit different places, I saw a
creek, a waterfall, a forest and fantastic animals. Being surrounded
by so much nature made me feel at peace. We arrived at a beach
with cold waters, it was not very sunny so I swam a bit. After this,
we went to a mountain with a beautiful view where there were
many vendors with their crafts. At night we got on a chiba and my
aunts began to dance, I really wanted to dance but I was very
ashamed. We visited a stadium, La Bahía, Plaza de los Novios, I
took many photos and enjoyed that last night in Santa Marta.
Our last day at this place had arrived, I really didn't want to leave
because I had such a great time. We went to see the sunrise, one
of the most beautiful things in the universe. Finally, I said goodbye
to Santa Marta after spending a nice vacation.
