My favorite summer vacation
Last year, my family and I went on vacation to Playa Banco in Sona. Each
summer is beautiful for me because I spend time with my family, but this was my
favorite since I was with all of them complete. When I was on the beach, I did exciting
things and I also felt sand surrounding my feet and sun rays tanning my body. My most
interesting tradition is my family vacation to the beach, take time to relax and have an
excellent time with all my loved ones, enjoying the waves and the sun, eating and
playing.
I always wished to spend a nice summer vacation on a beautiful beach, so we
went to Playa Playa. I consider that it was the best vacation because I enjoyed with all
my family and my brother was the one who had the idea to go to this beach, therefore;
we organized everything; we packed the most necessary things, specifically the gallons
of water, the floats, some flip-flops for the beach, a tent, bathing suits, towels,
sunglasses. We also carry many things to eat, for example, sweets, vegetable fruits. We
put everything in the car, leaving everything ready for the trip at we could get up not so
early.
Next day, we woke up very early, finished fixing some things and we left;
When we were halfway there, my brother parked the car, and I got out to grab some
firewood to cook on the beach; then we continued with our trip. After a few hours we
finally arrived so I got things off the car while my mom was preparing the wood stove
for cooking and my brother was tending the tent. After having finished organizing
everything, my mom and one of my sisters stayed cooking, and my brothers and I went
to the water. It was at that moment when the greatest fun began.
At the moment of entering the water I felt a little scared because the waves were
hitting very hard, but then it passed and I had maximum fun with my brothers and
sister-in-law. We did a lot of fun things like making sandcastles, tanning, sunbathing,
flying a kite, jumping on floats, and running along the shoreline. We were really having
a lot of fun. We went up to my pregnant sister in the float and let ourselves be dragged
by the waves, obviously taking precautions. Honestly, it was a beautiful day even
though I swallowed a lot of water.
Hours later, my mom called us because it was time to eat; my mom was and is
the best cook in the world. She prepared a delicious rice with green beans and stewed
chicken. It was really very delicious. When we finished eating, we rest for about an hour
and then entered the water again but this time with my mom, we had to be very careful
because she didn't know how to swim. Although at the time passed quickly, we had a lot
of fun.
Finally, it was time to go home, therefore we collected everything and put it in
the car. The tide had already risen; it was around 5:00 pm so we stayed for a while
watching the sunset and then we left. It was the most amazing day of my life. The
wonderful experience included the beautiful beach, the delicious food and meeting
interesting people. To conclude, this was the best vacation I have ever had, possibly
due to the fact that it was the last of my life. These have been my fantastic vacations.
