Geo 8a nov 29 resources and exploiting resources Simon Shay

The resources that are located in my country are following:

small deposits of coal natural gas limestone gold silver marble asbestos lumber wind rice tea fruits fish wild animals

The resources in my country are plentiful, except for the small deposits of coal, gold, silver, limestone, marble and asbestos. The tea and rice are produced in mass quantities. The fish and wild animals reproduce on the island. The lumber in my country is extracted from the many forests. Natural Gas Natural gas is a gas found all over the island. Coal Coal is a substance found in small quantities, extracted from the ground in the mountains. Coal is not exported due to small quantities. Gold Gold is a substance found in small quantities, extracted from the ground in the mountains. Gold is not exported due to small quantities. Silver Silver is a substance found in small quantities, extracted from the ground in the mountains. Silver is not exported due to small quantities. Limestone

Limestone is a substance found in small quantities, extracted from the ground in the mountains. Limestone is not exported due to small quantities. Marble Marble is a substance found in small quantities, extracted from the ground in the mountains. Marble is not exported due to small quantities. Asbestos Asbestos is a substance found in small quantities, extracted from the ground in the mountains. Asbestos is not exported due to limited quantities. Lumber Lumber is a substance found in very large quantities and chopped all around the island. Lumber is exported. Wind Wind is a large resource in my country because it is an island with mountains. Wind is used to power windmills which produce electricity. Rice Rice is a food grown around the outside of the island and it is a staple food item that goes with every meal. This product is exported to other countries because of mass production. Tea Tea is a plant grown on the outside of the island and the best tea is grown high in the mountains because the altitude affects the taste. Tea is exported because it is mass produced.

Fish Fish is a animal found in the water surrounding the island. Fish is an important food of the Siwanese and therefore it is not exported to other countries. Wild Animals Wild animals are found all around the island. This food is not exported. Fruits Fruits are grown on the inside of the island in the forests. They are not exported.

The non-renewable resources are coal, gold, silver, limestone, marble and asbestos. The renewable resources are natural wind, lumber, tea, rice, fish and wild animals. If I were to exploit all the minerals, I would destroy the forests and valleys in the mountains. Therefore, I will extract the resources in a very careful way so that the forests will stay intact. There are many different ways to extract minerals, and I would pick one place to mine where there are no trees in order to save the environment. The trees are renewable and they are a very important resource to humans and animals. I will cut down trees in a limited area to preserve other treed areas for animals to live. After I cut down trees, I will plant them all back to maintain the forest environment for the animals. Fish are in the water and reproduce as part of their natural cycle -- many of them are born each day. While I will fish, I will be careful not to over-fish and make the fish population extinct. The fish are an important resource to feed my country. I plan to hunt wild animals in a controlled amount to ensure they are not exploited and become extinct. Wild animals are also an important resource to feed my country.

Exploitments Trees Trees will be exploited in small amounts to preserve animal life. Tea and Rice Tea and rice will be exploited completely because it is in high demand. Fish and Wild Animals Fish and Wild animals are going to be exploited in small amounts because I don't want to destroy animal life. Minerals My minerals will not be barely exploited because if exploited completely it will hurt animal life and plant life.
