first of all open your camera beware not to destroy the cmos sensor.... i extended the wires of the image capturing button outside the webcam which allows us to have still images.. i also a switch to turn the led's on or off they were yellow and grey it may be different for yours.....

Step 3: Reversing the lens...

second step is that we have to reverse the lens placed over the cmos sensor.......just place it 2-3mm away from the cmos sensor...

Step 4: Close the cover....

after reversing the lens screw the webcam back..... now its ready to use but i made a stand to get still images from it......

Step 5: Final body....

i used a soap box and fixed the webcam over it and as u can see from image it can be adjusted for getting images also i used a mirror below it so that the light spreads all over the object placed over it and also it provides the light from below the object.... ALL DONE....PLACE ANYTHING BELOW THE LENS......ENJOY. :)

Step 6: OUTPUT ON PC.....

these were some pics clicked by this microscope/webcam that even includes the amoled screen pixels of my mobile (galaxy note) and LCD monitor pixels and paper too......

Oh how awesome, I have the exact same webcam but the tact switch to snap shots was not solder to anything in mine. If you can OP can you post an image of where to wire the tact switch to the PCB board?

Only problem is when reversing the lens there's no way to secure it in the model I have. I may have to glue it or something.
