Primary School

St Marcellin, our founder, was a man ahead of his time - he loved young people. His energy and enthusiasm for educating young people is certainly felt in our primary school, where children are given the space to explore life to the full. The Primary School is a family-like environment where excellence in education and a sense of social responsibility is valued. The primary school aims to make sure that children have a safe, actively engaged learning experience, which is supported by passionate teachers. We believe in guiding youngsters toward life-long learning and therefore, our curriculum aims to educate children who will strive to achieve their full potential while working as a member of a community. Our children are encouraged to develop their skills and knowledge to improve their world and the world of others. Classes give children opportunities to explore different learning styles and methodologies. The curriculum is designed to generate critical thinking skills, problem-solving, creativity and most of all a love for learning. We acknowledge that the world we live in is a rapidly changing and technologically driven one, and for this reason embrace these advances. Children are skilled to engage with technology in a responsible manner while having fun. The curriculum transcends the classroom and children are encouraged to be active in improving our environment. We have a recycling and anti-litter campaign which ensures that children are socially involved in minimising out foot-print on the planet. Children are encouraged to help the less fortunate and actively involve themselves in a number of charities. In developing the whole child our co-curricular activities allow children the opportunity to develop their mind and bodies and all children are encouraged to become involved in both sporting and cultural activities.
