The Professional Philosophy Statement

As an Early Childhood Educator, I think, or purpose is to fully prepare children for their
future in school. Helping children learn to their fullest potential can be a great
advantage. The purpose of early childhood education is to help children develop and
learn to their fullest potential. Early Childhood Education offers a range of benefits to
children, as well as to their families and their communities. Children learn best when
educational and instructional activities make up a small segment of their days, and there
is a variety os of learning environments.
The basic of curriculum that contribute to children’s learning should include teaching
language development, working on improving and helping fine and gross motor skills
grow, also to teach children about ways to express social and emotional needs as well as
intellectual.
Infants and toddlers learn best in environments where they can have a secure
relationship with caring and responsive adults, and where the feel safe and are free to
explore and learn, Children learn by exploring their environment, they will naturally be
drawn to explore a space that is inviting.
Creating a safe and playful and welcoming learning environment is beneficial for
children. We can create an environment that includes home culture into the
environment so children can relate to it. All children have certain basic needs that must
be met these needs include Guidance, praise, dependability, and feeling safe and
secure. I would meet this need by supporting and comforting when needed, I also praise
and motivate them.
Important qualities a teacher should possess are being nurturing and patient. Working
with children is a very rewarding and sometimes hard profession. Having these qualities
will help achieve your goals to teach and prepare kids for school.
Students with special needs often require adaptations to teaching practices to meet
their needs I use several strategies to accommodate them the best I can. Depending on
the needs I make modifications to the environment if needed. Another strategy is to
inform and study so that I can be well prepared to help my students with disabilities.

Including modifications to my learning style include incorporating diverse cultural

backgrounds from my students. I would acknowledge this and include diversity by
inviting families and asking and informing myself about the different cultures.
